What is Sub-Ohming?
Matt, our business development manager, gives his thoughts on the new VBOX Mod Kit and Pocket Fuel Dripper range.....
It’s 9AM Monday morning. Still blurry eyed and drinking copious amounts off coffee we are sitting down to our weekly sales and marketing meeting. I'm running my FUSE kit with Black Grape to go well with said coffee. The usual pat on the back and updates on sales and then we got told about our new products we are releasing in two weeks’ time: the new SUB TANK PLUS.
Brilliant! A new clearomizer for my sub ohming kit (running on my V BOX); a tank capable of running at high temps with a 0.5 Ohm coil. Okay then, now I’m definitely paying attention.
Two weeks later I’m the first to order the kit - I'm sat there for what felt like another two weeks but was only 10min and then I had it in my hands (our warehouse is a speed machine).
Straight off the bat I really like the packaging (it reminds me of a hanging Christmas decoration but I’m not sure the boss will agree!). It’s a vibrant Vapouriz Green with a clear tube displaying the tank; you can literally see the quality just looking in the box so you know exactly what you’re getting. I filled up my tank with one of my favourite liquids, our Pink Fizz Pocket Fuel, and began religiously prepping my coil.
I think one of my favourite features compared to other tanks is the massive 4.5ml chamber which means that when I take this bad boy down the pub and all my mates keep nicking it to have a go, I will still have enough juice to get me through the evening. Unlike other clearomizers, this one actually comes with spare coils. Right, that’s the whole week sorted and I’m loving it.
1 minute later I’m ready to go. I am running my tank at 20w on my V BOX – it is good… in fact it’s awesome, but let’s see what this bad boy can really take. I go 30w then 35w, finally settling on 40w. Big Clouds to show off with and Big Flavour to boot. I’m one happy vaper.
Now let’s just see how many times I can refer to that packaging as the ‘Christmas decoration’ before I really get in trouble…
