Stoptober is an annual initiative championed by the NHS to inspire people to give up smoking cigarettes for good and enjoy healthier, happier lifestyles. Part of the One You campaign that encourages small but significant changes to improve our health and wellbeing, Stoptober has helped thousands of Britons quit cigarettes by taking a break from smoking over October, offering 28-day support and advice throughout the month and beyond.
Research shows that if a smoker can stop smoking for 28-days then they are five times more likely to quit for good.
